8 PoE-powered switch offers an effective way to install multiple IP cameras using only one network cable, which ultimately minimizes the unsightly clutter of power cords in space-constrained places like ceilings.
This 8 port PoE powered switch supports PoE pass-through to draw power from an upstream PoE switch while providing up to 71W to connected PoE devices. Its durable metal housing and redundant power supply make it ideal for harsh environments.
Use existing cabling or network to provide power and data to 7 PoE devices (IP cameras, VoIP phones, WAPs, etc.) with only one cabling between the main network (PSE) and the poe powered switch.
This 8 port PoE powered switch gets its power from a 802.3bt PoE switch or PoE injector and passes data and electrical power to a number of PoE-compatible devices via standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. No additional AC outlet is required.
Receive the power from the PoE injector or switch; No need for power source present at the edge; easy plug-and-play installation.
Working with 95W PoE injector/switch, this 8 port PoE powered switch can provide a total power budget of 71W with a max. power output up to 30W per port to supply both PoE and non-PoE devices.
Double the max. distance between PSE and PD from 100m to 200m to extend your Gigabit network connectivity to remote areas where a power source is not available.
