8 PoE-powered switch offers an effective way to install multiple IP cameras using only one network cable, which ultimately minimizes the unsightly clutter of power cords in space-constrained places like ceilings.
This 8 port PoE powered switch supports PoE pass-through to draw power from an upstream PoE switch while providing up to 71W to connected PoE devices. Its durable metal housing and redundant power supply make it ideal for harsh environments.
One Cable Network Expansion
Use existing cabling or network to provide power and data to 7 PoE devices (IP cameras, VoIP phones, WAPs, etc.) with only one cabling between the main network (PSE) and the poe powered switch.
This 8 port PoE powered switch gets its power from a 802.3bt PoE switch or PoE injector and passes data and electrical power to a number of PoE-compatible devices via standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. No additional AC outlet is required.
Easy to Install
Receive the power from the PoE injector or switch; No need for power source present at the edge; easy plug-and-play installation.
71W Power Budget
Working with 95W PoE injector/switch, this 8 port PoE powered switch can provide a total power budget of 71W with a max. power output up to 30W per port to supply both PoE and non-PoE devices.
Double the max. distance between PSE and PD from 100m to 200m to extend your Gigabit network connectivity to remote areas where a power source is not available.
Seven 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE RJ45 ports and one Gigabit RJ45 PoE Pass through port.
Compatible with IEEE802.3af/at/bt standard, PoE++; power and data over the same Ethernet cable; automatic PoE detection to protect PD from being damaged by incorrect installation.
Wide working temperature range from -20℃ to 70℃; compact wall-mountable metal housing; applicable for outdoor use if waterproofed.
A: This 8 port PoE powered switch delivers high power budget up to 71W to meet different demand. The PoE port complies with IEEE802.3at(PoE+) standard. Each PoE port is capable of output maximum power up to 30W.
A: A: This PoE passthrough switch can work under temperature range from -20℃ to 70℃. Perfectly fine in various outdoor environments.
A: Actually not. You can use it to power devices while the connected devices do not need network.
A: This PoE powered switch is backwards compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standard, which takes 2 twisted pairs to transmit data and power,it can work with any devices that supports IEEE 802.3af/at standard.

You just turn it on and plug everything in,Very nice that avoids the need to set up ports.
Since I inserted it and worked, I have had no problems for a few weeks with it.
This switch has 8 ports to support my devices. Clear quick guide and customer service technical support is great.
Just plug in your stuff. No trouble sharing an internet connection with the gateway. All three home computers we connected to it got full Gigabit speed. No slowdown.
