Indoor-to-Outdoor Fiber PoE Switch

When a company seeks to expand its network infrastructure to include outdoor environments, fiber optic cables are always the best option. Since they are highly resistant to harsh weather conditions, you can build a high-performance, secure, and reliable network outdoors. With a dedicated fiber connection, there is minimal risk of data interception or unauthorized access, providing a secure and reliable communication system. Not only does it provide high-speed data transfer, but it also allows for transmission over longer distances. Today, most PoE switches are equipped with at least one Gigabit SFP port so you can create a high-speed, long-distance connection between two switches without involving any media converters. By using the BiDi transceivers, you can achieve bi-directional transmission on a single fiber. To help you extend the network safely outdoors, Fastcabling has developed a collection of outdoor PoE switches with more than one SFP interface and they’re IP67 waterproof, giving you peace of mind in outdoor applications. Simply plug the BiDi modules into both indoor and outdoor PoE switches, connect them with fiber cables, and you’re done
