10G Fiber & PoE for 2.5G WiFi AP

If you’re suffering buffering and latency on your current wireless network, it’s time to make an upgrade. The latest 2.5G WiFi 6 AP can increase network capacity by up to 4 times than its WiFi 5 counterpart, allowing you to connect more devices in high-density environments without negatively impacting your WiFi speeds. With a 40% increase in speed, you can enjoy buffer-free 4K UHD streaming and faster downloads, and improve overall network efficiency in SMB and smart home networks. However, a 2.5G switch is normally required for a 2.5 WiFi 6 AP to run at its full capacity because a multi-Gig switch can provide higher bandwidth and less congestion than the traditional 1G Ethernet switch. Fastcabling has developed two types of 2.5G unmanaged switches that help you easily upgrade to a 2.5G network with the existing Cat5 cabling and they also are equipped with a 10G SFP+ uplink that enables faster data transfers between workstations and prevents data bottlenecks for the whole system.
